The holidays are so busy we all procrastinate on a few things to meet that Christmas deadline! But, this year many of the kids have a nice long Christmas break. They finish school on December 20th and don’t have to go back until January 6th! So, you have a little extra time to squeeze in a visit to the dentist. Why squeeze this into December?
- Save Money
Many health benefits expire on December 31st, and the money saved in the plan won’t roll over on January 1. If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it! So, use it!
- Children especially eat lots of extra sweets over the holidays. Reset with a good cleaning to keep cavities away.
- Early morning and after school appointments are always in high demand. Come in over the Holiday break so you have more flexibility.
Winter break is also a great opportunity for college students to get a cleaning while home on break. This will help them avoid more costly issues due to skipping that cleaning.
- Cold and Flu Season is Hard on Your Teeth
Over-the-counter cough drops and cough suppressants contain large amounts of sugar in many forms, which is bad for your teeth! Some may also contain citric or alcohol, both of which can attack your enamel.
Want to come in before the year ends? Request an appointment today!
